no your hair will be fine
just use conditioner because dye dries your hair
no, you have to remember your hair is dead. the new hair has nothing to do with the bottom of her hair.
probably not that bad. but remember that if your ends start to split you have to trim it to keep your hair growing healthily
It will only effect the ends of your hair, and depending on how long the tips are they wont be there long because when you get trims that’s what is going to get cut off.
if u do just the tips it wont hurt ur hair besides u can cut them out so don’t go overboard alot of times i have done this for people designer here
well if you die the tips u can always get the tips chopped off and i dont see how it will affect ur roots
hmmm well it might give you split ends and dry out the tips if you don’t take care of it well or chose a really strong product….but my hairdresser said that just getting your tips dried, it does so much less damage then dying all of your hair because that will effect your roots and your scalp can be damaged. But the most common thing to happen if your all head it dyed is that it might be really dry and frizzy.
nopee, it will not ruin your roots. it may fry the ends of your hair depending on its current condition, but if you use a deep conditioner, concentrated on the tips and leave it there for a couple minutes before you rinse, it should be fine. also, i would recommend getting a hair cut right before you dye it, just to make sure you don’t have horrible ends going into the process.
No, it won’t. It’s just like putting polish on the tips of your nails. You’re putting dye on the part that can’t grow and just extends from the roots, and eventually gets cut off.
Just dying the tips wont have any affect on your whole head of hair. But dying your hair does dry your hair out, so make sure and really rehydrate your hair with conditioner, more preferably if you want is to use a conditioner that is specifically made to keep hair color in longer.
“I feel for you. I messed up my hair (did it my own self though) and had to cut mine off. The best thing to do if you don’t like short hair on you is wait as long as you can before cutting it off, (because if you’re a “long haired person at heart”, you’ll **** it short and not like it for years until it grows back – if your not, then its not so bad!). My only regret after my hair disaster was cutting off so much because it took more years than I had planned on for it to grow back. Are you using a conditioner heavy in silicones? That can do wonders for chemically damaged hair. Pantene conditioner has more silicones in it than anything else I can think of (I think Redken All Soft might have a lot too). You might have read that silicones aren’t so great for long hair because eventually they give build up damage if you don’t clarify to remove them periodically, but if you plan to cut the damaged parts off anyway, they will make your hair feel softer and better until you do. I don’t know if I would clarify chemically damaged hair…when mine was damaged or dyed I didn’t so I have no experience with that.”
“When it comes to Pantene, stay away from it and getting your hair dyed (if you ever decide to again). A hairdresser told me that not only does the heavy ammount of silicone in it build up on your hair making it seem like its healthy when its just limp and so weighed down you can’t do anything with it, BUT when you go to get your hair dyed a lighter color, an ingredient in things like Pantene Shampoos and leave in conditioners speed up the processing time, I didn’t know this and told her half way through i had put in a Pantene leave in conditioner the night before, lucky she took the foils out right then otherwise i’d have white blonde streaks “
